As traditional and not very green 12V mini halogen lamps are being discouraged there is an increasing need for eco- replacements. Ones I've tried in the past have been too big to fit in through the opening of my lounge light 'shade' fitting so I'd have to replace that too .The set of lamps I tried measured about 10.4mm across their widest part which means they fitted into my shade openings with a little to spare finally a replacement LED that will fit in shades with a small entry hole and finally a way to go green without throwing out all my fittings
I tried another LED product first and found out that the covers of my lamp only have 10mm bushings. These LEDs are ideally only 9 mm in diameter and yet are sufficiently bright.
I ordered these bulbs to replace ones in salt lamps.
They are compact look well built and importantly they are brighter than the original bulbs.
Being LED I expect these will last alot longer than the standard bulbs I used. Great product and great value for 5 bulbs so I have spares!
Used in fair lamp, for perfect, very little to no heat generated, but plenty of light. Very happy with these as other bulbs i bought for this purpose didn't fit correctly
Five stars for creativity.
These are beautiful bulbs but why oh why did the maker not choose bulbs with a dimmable circuit? I bought them knowing they weren't but if they were I'd be buying a whole lot more for my vintage lighting business.
